Hiawatha Bike Trail

Last Friday we went to the Montana/Idaho border to ride on the Hiawatha trail. It's beautiful and scenic, made from the old train line that started in Chicago and goes somewhere, I don't know, Seattle? Canada? I didn't read all the info boards along the trail.
The portion of the trail we took was 13 miles long, and the good news is it's all down hill. You can seriously ride this trail by just balancing on your bike and working the brake lever once in a while. There are tons of old tunnels to ride through and train trussels to cross over. At the end of the ride, there is a bus that brings you back to the top where you parked your car.
I hope to do this again, hopefully the next time someone comes out here to visit me. Wink wink.
