Update Today

There has been a lot of stuff since I got back from Minneapolis, but I wouldn't say I've been busy.

I'm looking for work, and I'm not picky, except I can't get a retail type job that won't let me take time off during the holidays, because I plan on being back in Minnesota for Thanksgiving and New Years. So far I haven't had any luck, but if I keep looking then I figure something is going to work out.

One thing that has worked out is the Bishop at my parents church is getting the word out that I'm for hire. I got one grunt work gig out of that so far. I pulled rocks out of a field for 4 hours in the blazing sun. You might have been wondering why I was so tan? Anyway, I stopped by a yardsale on the way home from that job, and found a nice Bianchi sport sx for $10. It fits me perfectly. I won't be able to ride it much here, but it will be great for Minneapolis when I finally move back.

About flying.

I haven't done any flying since I've been back. 16X is down for repair at the moment. During the annual inspection, we found chunks of metal in the used oil. That is a sign of a problem, so we're getting that fixed, and we're getting a engine rebuild just because. This kinda sucks, but the plane should only be down until the end of October, I've been told. Beats having the engine seize up at 2000 ft.
